If you have a question about the collections and services of the Medical Library and are:

• a member of staff or student of the University of Cambridge
• a current member of the Medical Library
• a member of staff employed by the NHS across the East of England
• an external enquirer needing information specifically about or held by the Medical Library

If you visit the library we aim to have started to answer your quick reference question within 15 minutes during staffed opening hours (more detailed questions might have additional answer sent by email).

If you  phone us, we aim to have answered your question within one working day (perhaps sending an answer by email).

If you use the email form we aim to acknowledge your question within one working day, and to have answered it by the end of the following working day. 

Please note that if you want us to carry out a literature/evidence search for you, or support you in your own literature/evidence search, you should not use this form. Instead, fill in the literature/evidence search request form.
