I’ve worked at the Medical Library for over ten years, and now lead the team. As well as ensuring existing services run smoothly, I liaise with as many different parts of the NHS and the University as I can to ensure we’re developing the new services you need now and in the future. I have a particular interest in user education and research support, especially in systematic reviews, and have blogged, published and presented in these areas. I also support the work of THIS Institute as their embedded librarian. Veronica Phillips
Assistant Librarian (Research Support, Teaching and Learning)
As Assistant Librarian, I share responsibility for the Library’s programme of teaching and training with Isla Kuhn and Frankie Marsh. We provide group and one-to-one research support to members of the University of Cambridge, and NHS staff in the East of England region. I also help run the Library’s Twitter and other social media accounts, as well as its website. I have collaborated with researchers at Cambridge and beyond on systematic reviews, and am coauthor of these reviews (and other publications), which have been published in peer-reviewed journals. I am a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) and have a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. Frankie Marsh
Assistant Librarian (Research Support, Teaching and Learning
I am Assistant Librarian and help run the Library’s programme of teaching with Veronica Phillips. This includes group training and one-to-one support for all members of the University of Cambridge and Addenbrooke’s staff.
